I want to share a positive story to balance out all the scam warnings. Last year, I was taking Organic Chemistry, Physics, and a heavy writing-intensive literature class. I am not a writer; I'm a science person. I was spending 20 hours a week struggling on a single English paper, and my science grades were slipping. A friend convinced me to just buy the literature essay from a reputable service. I did, and I got a B+. It wasn't perfect, but it freed up my time to focus on my actual major classes, where I got A's. Sometimes you have to delegate. It wasn't about being lazy; it was about strategic time management.

This is an interesting case study in opportunity cost, honestly. If you're spending 20 hours on something outside your major to the detriment of your core classes... is that really the "right" way to do college? I'm not endorsing academic dishonesty, but I see the logic.

The key difference here seems to be that you:
  1. Used it as a tool, not a crutch
  2. Actually reviewed the work (since you knew it wasn't perfect)
  3. Focused your energy where it mattered for your actual career goals
Still risky though. One bad plagiarism scan and you're cooked. Did you ever worry about getting caught? Genuinely curious how you navigated that anxiety.
