How do I stop researching and start writing? I have 50 sources. 📚

I have a problem. My research paper is due in two weeks and I have 50 sources. Fifty. I keep finding "just one more article" that might be useful. I'm scared to stop researching because what if I miss the perfect source?

My outline is beautiful. My Zotero library is a work of art. My actual paper? Zero words. I haven't started.

How do you know when you've done enough research? At what point do you just... start? I feel paralyzed.

My roommate says "just write" like it's that easy. It's not. Every time I open a blank document, I think about all the things I haven't read yet and freeze.

Here's a system that helped me break the research loop:

1. Print your outline
2. Go through each source and assign it to ONE section of your outline (write the section number on the first page)
3. For any source that doesn't fit clearly, put it in a "maybe" pile
4. Start writing section 1 using ONLY the sources assigned to it
5. If you NEED something from the maybe pile while writing, add it. Otherwise leave it.

Forces you to commit. The maybe pile is where sources go to die lol but honestly 90% you never touch.
