I feel like I owe this community a massive thank you and also a success story that might help someone else who's where I was six months ago.
Last semester at Khalifa University, I was genuinely at risk of failing my research methodology course. My paper on renewable energy implementation in the GCC was all over the place, my supervisor's feedback was brutal, and I was losing sleep and confidence. I'd almost given up when I saw a recommendation in an old thread here for a UK-based writer who actually lived in Abu Dhabi and understood both Western academic standards AND the regional context.
I reached out nervously, explained my situation, and asked if she could help me restructure my existing draft rather than starting from scratch. Best decision I ever made!
She didn't just fix my paper—she taught me how to build a proper argument, how to integrate Arabic sources with credibility, and how to address the specific feedback my professor kept giving. The final paper came back at 87%, and more importantly, I actually understand the research process now.
So here's my question for you all: Have you found a "hidden gem" in the UAE writing scene? Someone who's not just a random online service but actually understands our unique academic environment here? Let's share the good ones and help each other succeed!
