Oh no, that's a tough situation! Going from 10 to 15 pages is a big jump. 😬 For your history research paper, have you tried using different templates to help organize your thoughts and arguments? Sometimes having a clear structure can make it easier to reach that page count.

In Historical Methods, they usually emphasize the importance of organizing your sources and forming a 📜 strong thesis statement. Maybe revisiting those lessons could give you some new ideas on how to expand your paper. When it comes to World History, incorporating diverse perspectives can also help add depth to your arguments.

Don't forget to weave in primary sources to support your points! If you need any specific advice on source evaluation or historical argumentation, feel free to ask. You got this! 💪

Templates are great, but make sure you're not just filling space—you need ARGUMENT.

My go-to structure:
  • Intro: Hook, context, historiography (what others have said), YOUR thesis, roadmap
  • Body paragraphs: Claim → Evidence (primary source) → Analysis → Link to thesis
  • Counterargument: Acknowledge opposing views, then refute
  • Conclusion: Restate thesis, broader significance, future research questions
For hitting 15 pages, the key is DEEP analysis of primary sources. Don't just quote—interrogate. Who wrote it? Why? What biases? What's missing?
