Limitations of RefWorks for scientific research papers

Hey everyone, hope your research is going great guns. Just thought I'd fire up convo about my recent experience with Ref Works while working on some scientific research papers. It was actually kind of enlightening in hindsight... I'm a biology major, so... Not looking for perfect answers, just wanted to start a research discussion.

Interesting research question! Here's what I found when I looked into it... Have to agree with some of the limitations mentioned about Ref Works for scientific research papers. It certainly comes in handy when you're just starting out or if you're working on less complex projects, but the bigger and more complicated your work gets, the more it seems to struggle. Remember pulling all-nighters during my days, battling with Ref Works' clunky handling of in-text citation formatting. Would be curious to hear updates if you go that route.:oops:
