Software for speed: Need free writing software that just gets out of my way

Alright, let's be real. My first drafts are terrible, and I'm okay with that. My process is all about speed—just getting the words from my brain onto the screen as fast as humanly possible. I don't want to be tempted to edit, I don't want formatting to slow me down, and I definitely don't want any menus or options visible.

What is the absolute most "invisible" free writing software out there? I need something that boots up to a blank screen, and that's it. No toolbar, no ruler, no character count staring at me (unless I want it). Just me and the void. I've used the "typewriter mode" in some apps, which is cool.

Is there a specific app designed purely for this kind of raw, unfiltered output? I just want to open it, write 2,000 crappy words, and close it. Suggestions?
